Harold Lawrence "Andy" ANDREWS

ANDREWS, Harold Lawrence "Andy" (born as Harold L. Andrykovich), age 82, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, May 2, 2013. Services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at Great Lakes Baptist Temple, 2112 E. Maple Ave, Flint. Pastor David Chittenden officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250. Mr. Andrews was born September 5, 1930 in Flint, the son of George Frank and Mary Elizabeth (Dragas) Andrews. He was a 1948 graduate of Flint Northern High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Andrews married Mary Joan Topolinski November 11, 1954 in Angola, IN. He retired from Buick in 1995 after 47 years of service. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. Mr. Andrews attended Great Lakes Baptist Temple and loved hunting and fishing with his son's. He also was an avid golfer. Surviving are: 5 sons, Ron Allen Andrews of Swartz Creek, Rick Mark Andrews of Burton, Raymond Scott Andrews of Grand Blanc, Steven James Andrews and Laurie Webber of Swartz Creek, and William and wife Robin Andrews of Swartz Creek; 9 grandchildren, Tiffany (Blake), Paige, Megan, Nathan, Jessica, Rebecca, Lindsey, Ashley, and Miles; 1 great granddaughter, Brooklyn; sister, Frances and husband Jim Pettigrew of Grand Blanc; brother, George Andrews of Sebewing, FL; several nieces and nephews.
