CLAYPOOL, Harold Dwight - age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his residence. Honoring his request there will be no funeral services. Arrangements handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Harold was born July 27, 1927 in Findlay, OH, the son of Wilbur and Mary Elizabeth (Hutchinson) Claypool. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Claypool retried from General Motors in Skilled Trades in 1980 after 30 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Ellen Claypool of Swartz Creek; sons, Ricky and Robert; step-daughters, Bonnie Alfaro, Rhonda Conley; sister, Mary Lou Segar; brother, Glenn Claypool. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Claypool; step-daughter, Karen Polovina, step-son, John Fain, and brothers, Wesley, Claudis, and Gordon Claypool.
