Harold Hinton

HINTON D. Harold, age 85, of Grand Blanc, MI died April 16, 2020. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063  Fenton Rd, Flint.Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Harold was born December 16, 1934 in Burton, the son of the late Floyd and Minnie (Powell) Hinton. He married the late Betty L Brackney on December 8, 1955 in Grand Blanc. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2017. Harold worked for General Motors, Fisher Body Plant for 44 years.  His smile and gift of gab earned him the nickname "Happy Hal". He was always ready to lend a helping hand. For many vacations Harold traveled with his wife on their motorcycle around the United States. Harold also had a love for hunting, fishing, camping and boxing (and competed in the Golden Gloves). Surviving are: daughter Pam (Ron) Worthington; sons , Randy (Sue) Hinton and Mike (Shirley) Hinton ;grandchildren: Laura Worthington, Jenna Worthington,  Nick Hinton , Misty (Tim) Crawford, Donny (Sarah) Davis, LeeAnn Thompson, Shae Mckinnon, Hunter Schultz and 12 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Bantle of AR and numerous friends.
