Harold Roberts

ROBERTS, Harold Lloyd - Age 80, of Bruce Crossing, Michigan died August 30, 2014. Harold unexpectedly passed away in Highland, Michigan. Visitation will be at Our Saviour Lutheran Church (Paynesville) on September 6, 2014 in Bruce Crossing at 10 AM and the Funeral at 11:00 AM. Harold was born January 16, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Everett and Clara Mae Hampton Roberts. He had lived in Bruce Crossing since 1972 coming from North Chicago, Illinois. Harold graduated from Central High in Louisville, Kentucky. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was self-employed as a logger and dairy farmer, worked for the Laborers Union in Iron Mountain, Michigan, and the U.S. Postal Service in Glencoe, Illinois. Surviving are: wife, Donna; daughter, Jamie and husband John Stevenson; grandchildren, Julia and James Stevenson all residing in Highland, Michigan; step-mother, Eleanor Roberts of Evanston, Illinois; sister, Lucretia Fels of Louisville, Kentucky; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and special pets, Brody and Molly.
