Harriet was born May 12, 1942 in Pontiac, the daughter of Earl and Mildred (VanKleek) Moore. She was a 1960 graduate of Oxford High School; and she received an Associates Degree from Baker College. She married Howard Alan Harger October 13, 1990 and he preceded her in death February 21, 2014. Harriet had resided in Hartland for the past 4 years coming from Davison. She retired from Pontiac General Hospital as a Phlebotomist. She raised and breed Pug's. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, growing fresh vegetables, playing bunko, and most of all spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her children, Bonnie (Brant) Engel of Hartland and Shaun Moran of Waterford; step children, David Harger of Colorado, Ruth Estes of Davison and Bonnie Harger of Richmond; 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; siblings, Sue (Bob) Gerds of Millington, Jackie (Ken) Hermann of Davison and Dennis Moore of Davison; brother-in-law, Lou Donagrandi; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robin Stachel; and siblings, Michael Moore, Judy Donagrandi and Jerry Moore. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
