Harrold Bills

BILLS, Harrold Edward - Age 86, of Swartz Creek, went to the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2017. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday, March 11, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Fr. Gary Koenigsknecht and Fr. Steve Anderson con-celebrating. Burial in Maple Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday with a 7 PM Rosary Service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. The family will also receive friends from 9 AM until the time of Mass at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Holy Family Church Building Fund. Harrold was born March 18, 1930 in Flint, the son of Dilman French and Lyda Ann (Cool) Bills. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He Married Patricia Cross on November 11, 1950. Harrold worked for Buick as a machine repairman and retired with 40 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was active with the Knights of Columbus, and 55 Club, and a member of UAW Local 599. Harrold is survived by his wife, Patricia; five children, Kenneth (Mary) Bills of Naples, FL, Kathleen (Gregory) Teer of Grand Blanc, Michael Bills of Chesaning, Patrick (Jill) Bills of Grand Blanc and Thomas (Janey) Bills of Leander, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Bills, Sarah (Joel) Joslin, Steffy (Andrew) Bills-Guzak, Marcy "Mouse" (Michael) Poston, Christopher Bills, Matthew Bills, Patrick Dodd, Casey (Cherish) Niece, Megan (Jamie) Flowers; he was the great-grandfather (G.G. Boy) of Emersyn and Brayden Joslin, Mason Poston, Kami and Lola Guzak, Olive Bills, Trenton, Taylor, Jase Niece and Hayden, Cameron, Grayson Flowers; siblings, Bill (Marilyn) Bills, Audrey Simmons, Jean Pemberton, Judy Garza; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Bud Hendershot, Betty Bills, Dave (Pat) Cross; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Matthew; siblings, Ed (Jean) Bills, Velma (Bud) Elston, Marjorie Hendershott, Dale (Betty) Bills, Robert Bills, Kenneth Bills, Ruth Bills; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Patrick and Genevieve Cross; brothers-in-law, Bill Simmons, Bill Pemberton, Jack (Cleo) Cross.
