Heather Wells-Laffrey

Heather Wells-Laffrey, age 49 of Flushing, formerly of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on March 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48507 with Benjamen Evers officiating. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Heather's memory to the American Cancer Society (American Cancer Society).

Heather was born on November 30, 1976 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Lowell D. and Dinah L (Samson) Wells. She spent a lot of her childhood in Battle Creek, Michigan before moving with her family to Grand Blanc in 1989 where she graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1995. Heather worked as a Medical Biller for Dr. Frederick Bruening in Flint and she enjoyed reading, puzzles, Lego kits and creations and every minute that she spent with her cats.

Surviving is her mother, Dinah Wells of Burton. Brother, David (Tracy Miller) Wells of Flushing. Nieces, Katlyn and Madelyn Wells. Heather will also be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, her furry family member, Wyatt and special family member, Sandi Laffrey of Davison. She was preceded in death by her father, Lowell and adored cat, Remus.
