Helen Lancewicz

LANCEWICZ, Helen Margaret - Age 76, of Atlanta, MI, died Friday, August 8, 2014. Services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Helen was born August 10, 1937 in Cheboygan the daughter of George and Lola (Rands) Stokes. She was a graduate of Cheboygan High School. She married Walter J. Lancewicz June 7, 1958 in Cheboygan and he preceded her in death January 5, 2012. She retired in 1991 from Mac-Valves after 15 years of service and she also had previously been a teacher. Helen was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Loud Township and enjoyed canning and baking. Surviving are: 3 children, Kelly and husband Kyle Wangbichler of Fairview, Kurt and wife Tanya Lancewicz of Goodrich, and Walter Lancewicz of Highland; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Melvin and wife Joyce Stokes and Bill Stokes both of Cheboygan; and several nieces and nephews.
