Helen Martineau

MARTINEAU, Helen Rose- Age 99, of Flushing formerly of St. Ignace, died July 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday July 28 at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. John Lake officiating. Visitation will take place 10 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Helen was born January 4, 1918 in Cheyboygan, the daughter of William and Anna (Peterson) Rabideau. She married John L. Martineau on October 5, 1935 in St. Ignace. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1990. Helen was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church in Flushing. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Ann Lake; grandchildren, William (Frances) Lake, Judy (Fred) Tenbusch, Randy (Tracy) Lake, Mary (Scott) Halpin, and John (Patty) Lake; sixteen great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren.
