Helen Margaret Mitts

MITTS, Helen Margaret - age 81 of Flint, passed away, December 16, 2024. No services will be held. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Helen was born August 5, 1943, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Theodore Calvert and Elizabeth Marie (Morton) Ross. She received an Associate Degree from University of Michigan - Flint and retired from the State of Michigan as a caseworker. She married Ross Carter Mitts on February 18, 1994. Helen was an advanced master gardener and tax preparer after retirement for the State of Michigan. She volunteered at the Ruth Mott Foundation and was a member of the League of Women Voters. Surviving are: husband, Ross Mitts; her children, John Bykaylo III, Jenea Taylor, Jodean Bykaylo; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
