NICHOLS, Herbert - age 72, of Linden, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 12 PM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment will take place later at Fowlerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Pm Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Nichols was born January 25, 1938. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors. Mr. Nichols was an avid in woodworking and stained glass. Surviving are wife, Lucille; children, Terry Acton and wife, Susan of Harrison, MI, Karen and husband, Alan Hovorka of Fowlerville; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends also survive.
