BURTON, Herman Louis - age 67, of Lennon, MI, died April 27, 2024. Interment will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Herman was born March 30, 1957 in Howell, the son of Harold Leroy and Pauline Aletta (Smith) Burton. Herman was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1975-1979. He married Cynthia Ann Simpson on August 9, 1986 in Flint. Herman was a self employed roofer for many years. He was a huge sports fan especially the Detroit Lions and Tigers. He also enjoyed fishing. Surviving are: wife, Cindy Burton; step-son, Grant (Kayla) Simpson; three grandchildren, Breanna, Grant, Jr., and Kady; brother, Harold (Cathy) Burton; two sisters, Beverly VanKuren and Helen (Butch) Hulett.
