Holland E. THOMPSON

THOMPSON, Holland E. - age 81, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his residence. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where the family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Mr. Thompson was born August 26, 1931 in Edinburg, AR, the son of John and Florence (Taylor) Thompson. He married Carolyn Weaver on October 8, 1957. Mr. Thompson retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed motorcycles. Surviving are: wife, Carolyn of Fenton; two sons, Mark Thompson of Rose Township, Michael Thompson of Fenton; four grandchildren, Amber. Ashley, Crystal and Devin; great-grandchild, Hayden; sister, Rohdean Hopkins of TX; sister-in-law, Jearline Thompson of AR.
