Holly Ruth Sutton

SUTTON, Holly Ruth (Hulen)- age 66, of Fenton, formerly of Auburn Heights, passed away April 17, 2026. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor James Mascow officiating. Visitation 10:00 AM until the time of service Wednesday. A luncheon will follow the service at church.

Holly was born September 25, 1959, in Pontiac, the daughter of James W. and Melka (Kerensky) Hulen. She graduated from Avondale High School in 1977. Holly later received her B.S. degree in Nursing from Oakland University where she later received her MBA with a focus on Not-for-Profit Finance. In grade school, she developed a passion for art, drawing, and visiting Northern Michigan where she also developed her life long love of fishing. Holly also was an avid reader. In high school, Holly was a cheerleader and it was discovered during this time that she was academically gifted. Holly was a devoted nurse with a passion for the underserved community. She served as a Visiting Nurse, and then in the ICU Department at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and later in the CCU Department at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester. Holly also served as the Director of Case Management at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital and later at McLaren Hospital, Flint. She was the proud Founder and CEO of Care Management Solutions, LLC. Holly later served as The Director of Case Management at Hurley Hospital in Flint before concluding her career as a Visiting Nurse. She was a long standing member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fenton. Holly loved Jesus and trusted in Him alone for her salvation! She loved sharing God's goodness to anyone who would listen. Holly also enjoyed cooking, entertaining, fishing, water skiing, reading, and listening to Christian Music. She especially loved her family and her dogs.

Holly is survived by her mother, Melka Hulen; son, James (Beth Anne) Sutton, grandchildren, Isabelle, Noah, and Addison; and many extended family and dear friends.

Holly was preceded in death by her father, James W. Hulen, grandparents, George and Marion Hulen, Michael Kerensky and Traica Thomas. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
