Ida Lee

Lee, Ida Ethel - Age 100, of Linden, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, December 29, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden with Pastor Crystal Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 1- 4PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Reverence Hospice. Ida was born May 5, 1914 in Rogersville, the daughter of Alexander and Rozella (Kish) Pinter. She graduated from Otisville High School in 1932 and from the Howell Health Center as an LPN. She married Leon Tice in October of 1933 and he preceded her in death in April of 1953. She then married Edward Allen Lee on March 7, 1958 and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1988. She owned and operated a private beauty salon for 13 years. Ida was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church and a past President of the Linden United Methodist Women. She was an avid reader and loved poetry and classical music. Ida is survived by her children, Leone P. (Norbert) Tice-Burwell of Flushing, James A. (Mary) Lee of Commerce Twp, Marilyn A. (Michael) Childers of Flint; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and two sisters.
