Irene Georgieanna BUERGER

Irene Georgieanna Buerger,- age 86, formerly of Swartz Creek was a resident of the Theodore, Alabama area died Thursday the 14th of March at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Born in 1926 in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. Irene worked at the Turnstead Factory in Flint, Michigan for 27 years as a production worker before retiring in 1981. She loved cooking, spending time with her family and volunteering her time at the Theodore, Alabama VFW Post 4328 and Theodore, Alabama American Legion Post 250. She was preceded in death by her brothers Darwin Jensen, Jimmy John Jensen, Robert Jensen, daughter Judy Weirach, sons Christopher Buerger, David Buerger and son in law Dale Ridley. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Lynn Buerger, brother Herald Jensen, sister Pearl Herner, son Gary (Pam) Buerger, daughters Karin (Craig) Bright, Jill (Tim) Bunn, Debbie (Larry) Sain and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
