Irene Joan House

House, Irene Joan - Age 91, of Clio, passed away July 13, 2025. The family plans to celebrate her life privately in the future. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Irene was born September 12, 1933 in Gaines Township, Michigan, the daughter of John Zwierzynski and Pauline (Ceazar) Zwierzynski. Irene married Harry A. House. She worked as a telephone operator and later during the War she worked as an inspector at AC Spark Plug. After her husband returned from the war, she raised her children and was a homemaker. Later she was a secretary at a doctor's office. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harry; two children, Kathie (David) Lauback and Gary (Jody) House; grandchildren, Andrew (Lauren) Krup, Jenna (Eric) Nelson, Sarah (Eric) Hug, Katherine (Brandon) Pawlowski, and Kelly House; great-grandchildren, Allysa, Alex, Charlie, Wesley, Olivia and Max; step grandchildren, Karen (Jeff), Charlene, Laurie (Mark), and David (Sarah; many step great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Arnold) Wykes; many nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Patrick Krup; and many siblings.
