RUTHERFORD, Irvine H. "Stu" - Age 89, of Traverse City, formerly of Flint, passed on January 9, 2015. Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, January 19 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Stu was born October 19, 1925 in Flint, the son of Robert Martin and Bertha (Hurl) Rutherford. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Corp. He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons, Richard Rutherford and Randy (Diana) Rutherford; daughter, Diane (Sam) Morgan; brother, Robert (Marilla) Rutherford; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
