Irving H. Jones

JONES, Irving H.  Age 98, of Otisville, died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 5, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Jones was born September 26, 1905 in Prescott, MI, the son of William and Alice (Marsh) Jones. He married Velma Shurter. Mr. Jones retired from General Motors as a pipe fitter after 30 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and playing cards. Surviving are: wife, Velma; daughter, Bethany Richards; son, William Jones, all of Otisville; daughter, Jo-Ann Ringwalski of Swartz Creek; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
