RICHARDS, Jack, age 76, of Burton, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Avalon Hospice with his family by his side. Funeral services wil be 4PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating. Visitation will be 1 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to The Family. Jack was born October 2, 1936 in Strongs, MI. He is survived by loving wife of 54 years Veldean, Children, Becky (Duane) Switzer, Beverly Brown, Jack JR.(Dawn) Richards, Diana (Jim) Baker, John (Stacey) Richards; his Mother, Rosetta Richards, 14 Grandchildren: Monica, Seth, Chad, BillyJack, Nicholas, Bruce, Jack III, Dan, Dereck, Jenette, Quentin, Hailey, Noah and Jackson. 17 Great Grandchildren, 7 sisters, special brother and sister in law Louis and Avis Kidder and special companions Scooby doo and LiL Joe. Jack enjoyed Hunting, traveling in his RV and most of all spending time with his family. He is a retiree of Operating Engineers Local 324. He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence, sister Dorothy and Grandson Brent. The family would like thank the caring staff of Avalon Hospice.
