Jackelyn Moore

MOORE, Jackelyn Lucille -- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died August 30, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2 PM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Flint Ward, 1225 Robert T. Longway Blvd, Flint, MI 48503. Mrs. Moore was born May 4, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of Robert and Lucille Odykirk and was a graduate of Dye High School. She married Glen Moore on June 27, 1953 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2007. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are: three sons, John Moore of Swartz Creek, Richard (LuAnn) Moore of Gaines, Michael (Mary Ann) Moore of TN; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Sandra (Bob) Cruse of OK, Roberta Proffer of Swartz Creek, Elizabeth Rose of Flushing, Nancy (Jim) Lince of Forester, MI; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Odykirk of Fenton; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; daughter Clarissa Moore; infant great-granddaughter, Katelyn; sister, Cathy Odykirk, and brother, Barry Odykirk.
