PERKINS, Jackie Donald, "Jack" - Age 70, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Genesys Hospice Care. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sharp Funeral Homes for funeral expenses. Jack was born July 18, 1942 in Florence, Alabama, the son of the late Hollis Perkins and Jeffie Holt. He was employed by Engineered Products Company for 47 years until his retirement. Surviving are his daughter, Brenda Rainey (Rodger) of Grand Blanc; 2 stepsons, Earl Taylor, Larry Bensett; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Leonard Raymond (Elaine), Howard Simpson (Marge), Homer Simpson (Linda), William Simpson (Kay); 2 sisters, Mildred Haddock and Judy Frank; and several nieces and nephews, He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Ross; 2 brothers-in-law, JD Haddock, Cecil Gugin; stepfather, Lonis Simpson; and sister, Sara Oliger.
