Knapp, Jacob Ellsworth "Jake" - Age 19, of Flint , died Friday April 5, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 4PM Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Billy Pfeiffer officiating. Visitation will be held 12PM - 3PM and 5PM - 8PM Tuesday and again 12PM until time of service at the funeral home . Those desiring may make contributions to the Jacob Ellsworth Knapp Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Jake was born April 30, 1993 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ellsworth R. III and Paulette M. (Chambers) Knapp . Jacob was a 2011 graduate of Swartz Creek High School where he played football and wrestled. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing and writing. Surviving are: mother Paulette Knapp (step-father Kiley Cranmore ) of Flint; father Ellsworth Knapp III of Montrose; brother, Dustyn Knapp of Flint; grandparents, Ellsworth Jr. (Lois) Knapp of Montrose; Bill (Connie) Cranmore of Swartz Creek, Ernie (Patty) Collick of Bellaire, MI, Doris Green of Clio, great grandmother, Florence Malcolm of Clio, godparents, Lana Gorsuch of Grand Blanc and Joey Stevenson of Clio; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Charles Malcomb, grandparents Ellsworth Sr. and Elizabeth Knapp, and grandfather Leon Green.
