James Auther Bassett

Bassett, James Auther - Age 79, of Warren, formerly of Clio, died February 22, 2026. Memorial service at Mt. Hope Church and committal service at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly will be announced. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. James was born July 23, 1946 in Brainerd, Minnesota. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army with 10 years of service.

Surviving are: niece Tammy Karas; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol (Charles) Knowles; and nephew-in-law, Rodney Karas.
