CARPENTER, James Allen "Jamie" -- Age 48, of Flushing, died January 1, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be 12 Noon Saturday, January 5 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service. Jamie was born April 18, 1964. He worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed camping, cooking, playing guitar, and karaoke. Surviving are: six children, Laura Culhane, Nichole Irvine (Jason), Nicholas Carpenter (Victoria), Anthony Carpenter, Brooke McCormick, Ryan McCormick; six grandchildren, Jason, Xander, Jaylah, Kaylee, Clarissa, and Aubree; mother, Judith Goschka; father, Tom (Donna) Carpenter; step-father, Thomas Lampley; siblings, Julie Lanxton, Bill Baughman (Courtney), Jeff Lampley (Talia), Tom Simons, Donald Simons (Dawne), Patrick Carpenter (Julie), Dustin Carpenter (Darci); many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; special love Amber Yorks.
