James Edward Carter

CARTER, James Edward - Age 85, of Linden, passed away February 16, 2025. A private burial will be held at Cadillac Memorial Gardens, West in Westland and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. James was born January 6, 1940 in Springview, Nebraska, the son of the late William Louis and Gladys Maxine (Donneaud) Carter. James was a tool & die maker for over 30 years before retiring from Ford Motor Co. in 2000. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton and enjoyed going to Loose Senior Center. He is survived by his children, Kimberly (Rick) Giralomo, Karen (Dennis) Rainey, Sheri Allen, Cheryl (Rick) Kruger and James Jr. (Heather) Carter; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; sister, Judy Barker; step-children, Gerri (John) Danules, Kimberly Wright and Bob Courtright; seven step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
