James Dietz

DIETZ, James Edward, age 70, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 at home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Cliff Powell officiating. Visitation will be 11AM Thursday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family. James was born August 9, 1938 in Hillsdale, the son of the late Edward M. Dietz and Catherine G. Walker. In 1978, he married Marion Young. James was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement in 1984. Surviving are his wife, Marion of Fenton; 5 children, James B. Dietz, Joseph G. Young (Heidi), Linda Casen (Michael), Karen Wood (Ron), Robert Smith; 8 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Dietz; brother, Robert; sister, Shirley; and stepfather, Bill Holiday.
