James Giguere

GIGUERE, James Frank - age 81, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 10, 2017 at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10 AM - 11 AM Monday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. James was born March 6, 1936 in Flint, the son of the late Everett Milton and Leah Norine (Erb) Giguere. He was a 1956 graduate of Flint Northern High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. James Giguere married Shelby Jean Grimes on April 27, 1963. He retired from Reigle Press and was an active member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are: wife, Shelby J. Giguere of Swartz Creek; son, Todd (Sherri) Giguere of North Carolina; daughter, Leigh Ann Giguere of Harrisville, MI; two grandchildren, Scott John Patterson and Jamie Leigh Patterson; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Eugene (Joyce) Giguere of Maryland, Jo-Ann (Dan) Baker of Saginaw, and Raymond (Marty) Giguere of Corunna; many nieces and nephews also survive.
