Hale, James Byrne - Age 84, of Flint, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 1, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, August 8 at Faith Baptist Church 7306 E. Atherton Rd. Davison. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. James was born December 17, 1939 in Flint, the son of William and Vivian (Johnson) Hale. He was a graduate of Atherton High School. James served his country in The United States Navy. He married Patricia Hogan on December 31, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL. James worked for General Motors, A.C. Spark Plug for 32 years before retiring in 1997. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Davison. He also was a basketball and baseball coach at Genesee Christian for many years. His greatest loves are his wife, his family, his church and friends. James is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia; children, Edward (Julie) Hale of Chesaning, Joseph (Tina) Hale of Wasilla, Alaska, Tracie Bobrowski of Flint, Cheri (James) Lyon of Onaway, James (Sarah) Hale of Burton; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Ledet of Huxley, Iowa; brother, William Hale of Alpena; many nieces and nephews.
