James "Jim" Rock

ROCK, James "Jim" - age 61, of Flint, passed away August 4, 2025. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Monday, August 11, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 12 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Jim was born December 7, 1963 in Flint, the son of Wayne Wilks and Bethann (Wright) Rock. He graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1984 and later retired from General Motors. Jim enjoyed bowling, golfing, and working on cars. Surviving are: four children, Jacqueline Rock of Genesee, Jeremy Rock of Flint; Justin Rock of South Carolina and Jordon Rock of Grand Blanc; two granddaughters, Audriena and Scarlett; two brothers, Kevin (Regina) Rock and David (Marva) Rock; one niece and several nephews.
