James Leigh Schrader

Schrader, James Leigh - Age 63, of Byron, died April 17, 2026 at his residence. Arrangements have been handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, Michigan 48451.

James was born September 6, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of James Leigh Schrader and Penny (Pollack) Schrader. He attended Brighton Schools. He was an amazing artist. He was a musician and especially loved playing the guitar. He was a wonderful cook. He was very intelligent and knowledgeable on current events. He loved animals, especially his rescue cats. James was very generous. He had a great love for his family, and his daughter Amber and grand-dog Bernadette.

Surviving are: his daughter Amber Schrader; mother, Penny Schrader; brother, John (Karen) Schrader and family; Amber's mother, Wendy Schrader; and aunt, Susie and Christy Barnett, and family. He was preceded in death by his father.
