James Luba

James "Jim" E. Luba, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Services will be held in private for the family and they ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts during this difficult time. Online condolences can be shared at: www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.

Jim was born on October 3, 1962, to the late Lawrence & Ruth Luba in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from in 1981 from Roseville High School. He was employed with Ford for thirty-seven years as a supervisor before retiring in 2018. Jim was a classic rock connoisseur; he could match any artist to their songs. He enjoyed the thrill of a good bet and was a gifted storyteller and conversationalist. Jim was a talented crafter and was able to create wonderful master pieces from just simple object he found in nature. Above all he cherished his family and will be missed dearly by them.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Breanna (Alex) Luba, brother, Wayne "Wayneal" Luba, nieces and Beth Romano and Mellissa Martiss. He is further survived by other nieces, nephews and family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Edna and Larry Keith and his finance Shirley.
