James Allen PROUTY

PROUTY, James Allen -- Age 82 of Kalamazoo, formerly of Bangor MI, died March 29, 2014. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo. Jim was born October 19, 1931 in Breedsville the son of the late Clarke R. Prouty and the late Leona (Boger) Hoag. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was self employed as a Carpenter for many years. Surviving are: brother, Richard (Mary) Hoag of Kalamazoo; niece, Amy (Jeff) Stewart of CT; nephew Scott (Shannon) Hoag of Caladonia; niece Lori (Tim) Gammon of Ada; nephew, Michael (Debbie) Prouty of Otsego; grand nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Madison, Charles, Samuel, Ella; many cousins and special friends.
