James Henry Snear

SNEAR, James Henry - age 75, of Swartz Creek, died July 7, 2023. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Friday, July 14, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Visitation will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (www.fbem.org). James was born December 24, 1947 in Clare. He retired from General Motors and was a licensed builder, which was his true passion. James loved traveling the world with his wife, Dawn. He also enjoyed reading and hunting. Surviving are: wife, Dawn of Swartz Creek; son, James (Amy) Snear of Clare; step-son, Jared (Alycia) Wazny of Gainsville, GA; step-daughter, Kristen (Andrew) Spears of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Kayden, Gavin, Kaylee, Leland, Kendyl, and Lucas; twin brother, John (Valerie) Snear; sisters, Shirley Mohowitsch, Sylvia Burgess and Yvonne Haring; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and Brian Snear; father, Roy Snear, and mother, Josephine Gillespie. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
