James T. "Jim" Austin

AUSTIN, James T "Jim".- age 71, of Holly, passed away September 10, 2026. Cremation Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel. Jim's final resting place will be at The Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul, IN. Memorial contributions in Jim's memory would be appreciated to The Patricia Allen Fund which benefits Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

Jim was born February 7, 1955 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Jacque and Meryl (Whitney) Austin. He married Valerie A. Perry in Holly, MI on September 20, 1997. Jim was a Real Estate Broker and later started his own company, Holly Wood Equipment. Afterwards he and Valerie started a new company, Renovo Parts in Holly. Jim was an accomplished woodworker. He was a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills football team and loved his dog, Scout, and favorite cat, Spice.

Jim is survived by his wife, Valerie; daughter Emily; sister, LuAnn (Greg) Petersen,; brother, Larry (Sandy) Austin; father-in-law, Duane Perry; sister-in-laws, Marie Austin, Laurie (Bob) Palmateer, and Marie (Jim) Middledorf; and several nieces and nephews; and step-nephews.
