James Toby

TOBY, James Lee - Age 53, of Flint, died Thursday, May 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Paul Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 12PM until time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Genesee County Humane Society. James was born March 16, 1964 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Elden and Sharon (Foster) Toby. He married Nellie Randall on January 21, 1989 in Flint, she preceded him in death on June 15, 2012. James enjoyed fishing, video games, watching cartoon and spending time with his K-9 companions, Hershey and Stella. Mr. Toby was a member of Bay Mills Indian Reservation. Surviving are: mother, Sharon Toby; nephew, Nathan Allan Toby; niece Heather Lynn Toby all of Flint Township; grandmother, Edith Maxine Foster of Flint; sister-in-law Shelly Randall; brother-in-law, Tim Randall and several other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his father Elden Toby and brother Elden Toby Jr. James was also preceded in death by two grandfathers, a grandmother, three aunts, two uncles, one cousin, father-in-law and mother-in-law.
