Jane Lorraine WARD

WARD, Jane Lorraine - Age 94, of Linden, died Sunday, October 6, 2013. Services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, October 11, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Presbyterian Church. Jane was born February 17, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of George and Bertha (Brewer) Workmaster. She graduated from Packer Collegiate Institute and attended Hofstra University in Long Island, NY. Jane was married to Farrand G. Ward on March 9, 1946 at Mitchell Field Air Force Base in New York, and in 1951 they moved to Linden. Mrs. Ward was a longtime member of Linden Presbyterian Church and Spring Meadows Country Club. Surviving are: daughter, Martie L. Lind of Linden; grandchildren, Lisa and husband Jeffrey Harris of Fenton, Jason and wife Jill Lind of Euless, TX; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Alex Harris; Preston and Graham Lind.
