Janet Bergemann

BERGEMANN, Janet Ann - Age 90, of Davisburg formerly of Fenton, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Private service and burial have taken place. Janet was born January 2, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Selmer and Norma (Harmon) Olsen. She was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Chicago, IL. She married William F. Bergemann December 3, 1947 in Chicago, IL. and he preceded her in death September 1, 2011. She had resided in Davisburg for the past 5 1/2 years, coming from Fenton. Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, in Clarkston and a former member of Fenton United Methodist Church. She also was a volunteer Librarian at Waterford Community Schools and a Sunday School teacher. She was a newspaper writer for the Lakeland Tribune. Surviving are: daughters, Cathy Lavis of Naperville, IL, Julie (Thomas, Sr.) Carpenter of Eaton Rapids, and Amy (Kirk) Costello of Davisburg; grandchildren, Allison (Robert) Williams of Illinois, Thomas L. Jr. (Dayna) Carpenter of Iowa, and Mark (Jennifer) Shipman of Waterford; great granddaughters, Scarlett Williams and Kara Shipman; and several nieces and nephews.
