Janet Sinclair ELLSWORTH

ELLSWORTH, Janet Sinclair (Conard)-- Age 93, of Linden, passed away February 9, 2013, at Genesys Convalescent Center, Grand Blanc. Memorial service will be 1 PM Saturday, June 15 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St, Linden. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Linden Historical Society, P.O.Box 823, Linden, MI 48451 or Linden Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 277, Linden. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Born Aug. 18, 1919, in Germantown, PA, a town of which her sixth great grandfather was a founder in 1683. Her parents Walter M. Conard and Mary Edna (Chandlee), moved to Fenton, MI, in 1927. Janet graduated 1937 from Fenton, marrying Ellwood W. Ellsworth, March 26, 1942, at her Fenton home. He preceded her in death June 13, 1991. She began her career at Fenton State Bank in 1937, and with a break in between to raise her daughters, retired from there in 1974. Janet is a past deacon and member of the Linden Presbyterian Church, the Linden and Fenton Historical Societies, and Eastern Star of Fenton. She had been very active in community and church activities, and enjoyed learning about her family history. Janet was much beloved by many. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Jayne (Douglas) Larion of Grand Blanc, MI, and Charleston, SC, Mary Ann Sheppard, Highland, CA, and Margaret Bresz, Kalamazoo, MI, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brett) Seavey, Flint, Amy (Mike) Beubis, Pasadena, CA, Stephanie (Jason) Scott, Aurora, IL, PFC Daniel Sheppard, Fort Hood, TX and great grandchildren, Edward Seavey, Brittany Seavey, Noah Beubis and Emma Beubis.
