Janet Kay McRee

McRee, Janet Kay - age 87, of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Private services will be held and she will be laid to rest with her late husband, Joseph McRee at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Joel M. (Georgann) McRee and Dr. John P. McRee, DDS; daughter, Jeanine McRee; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, David (Diana) Babieracki; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; father, George L. Babieracki, mother, Kathryn Babieracki, and son-in-law, Randy Adams. Janet worked at several places in her life, including, as a realtor; General Motors, and ultimately retiring from Swartz Creek Community Schools and was affectionately known as "the lunch lady". Most importantly, she was a military wife and awesome mom, grandma, and great-grandma.
