Janette Ann Spring

Janette “Jan” Spring of Englewood, Florida, and Fenton, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 26th at the age of 77.

Born on May 9, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Edward and Norma Nordman, she graduated from Weberville High School in 1966. Jan married Dan Spring in 1981, and they spent 38 years together and raised their family in Fenton, Michigan. After retiring from General Motors in 2006, Jan enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren during Michigan summers. In Florida, she lived a relaxed life in her community at The Pines of Sandalhaven, where she made many wonderful friends.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dan, her brothers Eddie and Timothy, and her stepson Joe. She is survived by her siblings Debbie Blankstrom; David (Debbie) Nordman; and Don Nordman; her children Angela Luchenbill and Dennis Hyde; and her stepchildren: Collette (Scott) Gormley and Danielle (Aaron) Potts.

She will be remembered by her grandchildren: Brandon and Leatha Beaudry, Aubrey Beaudry, Peyton and Zachary Luchenbill, Sarah Spring, Dylan and Grant Smith, Nicole (Kyle) Janowiak, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 21, 2025, 11:00 am visitation and 12:00 service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W Silver Lake Rd. Fenton, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Jan’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s www.stjudes.org.
