Jason Adelbert Entrekin

Jason Adelbert Entrekin - Age 46, of Linden, passed away at Henry Ford Genesys with family and friends by his side, December 18, 2025. Jason was born on April 16, 1979 in Flint to Jerry and Judy (Whitehead) Entrekin. He grew up in Linden and graduated from Linden High School in 1998. He was on the kidney transplant list and very recently reached the top of the list for a transplant. An unexpected heart attack on December 16, 2025 transitioned him to his forever home with Jesus.

Jason was a fun loving guy, he loved children and would do anything he could for friends. Prior to stage 5 kidney failure, he enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his dog, Valentine. Dialysis enabled him to enjoy family trips within the last few years to Shipshewana, IN, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls and Florida most recently. He was able to spend quality time recently with his sister, Lisa in the Chicago area enjoying friends and the Shedd Aquarium.

Jason is survived by his parents, Jerry and Judy Entrekin; his sister, Lisa Entrekin; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friends, Angus, Jill, Hunter and Faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Joyce Entrekin, Russell and Agatha Whitehead.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, December 22, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11-6 PM Sunday and 11AM until the time of service Monday. Memorial donations in Jason's memory may be directed to Gift of Life Michigan, 3861 Research Park Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all who have shared their love, prayers and support during this difficult time, including staff at Davita Dialysis, Fenton, U of M and Henry Ford physicians and staff, and ICU nurse, Michael.
