Jason P. Owens, age 47, of Grand Blanc, passed away with family at his side on Monday, July 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jason was the beloved husband of Sarah and a proud, devoted father to his daughters, Rylee and Savannah. He is also survived by his parents, Kathy and Jim Alloway; his brother, Kevin (Jenny) Owens; his sister, Jamee Alloway; in-laws, Bob and Tammy Wood; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Tim) Kozol; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Lynn) Wood; nieces, Kaleigh, Alexxus, and Shania; great-niece, Aria; nephews, Mason, Aiden, Baylee, Gadge, Blayke, Hudson, Jesse, and Caleb; and great-nephew, Jackson. He also held a special place in his heart for dear friends Jacob, Courtney, Liam, and Clara Cushman, along with a host of friends who were like family throughout his life. His love for family extended beyond blood—he was the kind of man who made everyone feel like they belonged.

Jason lived life with energy and purpose. He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending his summers boating and traveling to lakes all across Michigan with family and friends. Always up for an adventure, he never passed up the chance to hit the road or gather around a bonfire.

He was a big kid at heart, which made him an instant favorite among children. He was always the first to jump in and play, whether it was wrestling in the living room, building forts, or turning everyday moments into fun and laughter. Kids were naturally drawn to him, and he loved every minute of it.

He was a loyal fan of Michigan State University and an even bigger fan of supporting his girls in all their endeavors. Whether on the sidelines or helping with a school project, Jason showed up—with tools in hand and love in his heart. His work ethic was unmatched, and he approached everything he did with determination, pride, and integrity. Projects often turned into cherished family events, where friends and loved ones gathered to pitch in, laugh, and create lasting memories.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the medical professionals who cared for Jason throughout his journey—his incredible team of doctors, nurses, office staff at Hematology Oncology Consultations, as well as the compassionate caregivers of Swan Hospice. A special thank you to Nicole, Tammy, and Brittney, whose kindness and dedication meant the world to us during these final days.

Jason’s legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
