GRAPPIN, Jean Eleanor (Vogel) - age 78, of Genesee, died Tuesday, March 04, 2014 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11110 N. Saginaw St., Mt. Morris with Fr. Thomas Nenneau celebrant. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until time of service at the church. Contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church. Jean married Ronald J. Grappin on August 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death in February 1986. Surviving are: three children, John (Gloria) Grappin, Michelle (Ramon) Mont, Mark Grappin who was at her side as her special caregiver; three grandchildren, Erica, Joseph and Samantha; step-granddaughter, Ashley and her daughter, Aubrey; 3 siblings, Carolyn Mochty, Fran Kranz, Dave McLean.
