ROCK, Jean - Age 88, of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Flint/Grand Blanc, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law in Florida. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon Friday, June 1, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11824 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc with Fr. Steven Anderson celebrant. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Everyone is invited to attend a luncheon at Holy Family Catholic Church at approximately 1:30PM. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Thursday at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Mrs. Rock will lie in state at the church from 11AM until the time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Mrs. Rock was born September 16, 1918 in Rector, Arkansas the daughter of Earl and Cora (Chapman) Hendren. She had been a resident of Ft. Myers, FL the last five years moving from the Flint area. Mrs. Rock retired from AC Spark Plug and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Nancy and husband Joe Anthony of Ft. Myers, FL; 3 grandsons, Joe and wife Kellie Anthony of Grand Rapids, Greg and wife Lynn Anthony of Ft. Myers, FL, Chris Anthony and Willi Alzamora of Naples, FL; 4 great-grandchildren, Joey and Mackenzie Anthony, Nick and Jessica Anthony. She was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Hogard.
