Jeanne Elizabeth PETTY

PETTY, Jeanne Elizabeth - age 74, of Davison lost her battle with cancer peacefully on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Petty was born April 27, 1939 in Washington, DC, the daughter of James A. and Louise (Pumphrey) Donahue. She married Paul Petty, Jr. on August 13, 1982. Jeanne retired from Social Security Administration after 20 years of service. She was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, and cooking was her love. Surviving are: husband, Paul Petty, Jr. of Davison; son, Joe (Virginia) Shifflett of Santee, CA; daughter, Rebecca Schmidt of Fenton; grandchildren, Regina (Brett) Stadler, Rachel (Eric) Weber, Corey (Chelsea) Schmidt, Casey Schmidt; stepchildren, Brian (Shelia) Petty of Fenton, Carla Sanford of Grand Blanc, Jana Petty of Fenton; step-grandchildren, Todd (Alyce) Petty, Lauren (Brian) Peterson, Jordan Carpenter, Jacob and Makenzie Sanford, Murphy and Spencer Jameyson; four great-grandchildren; six siblings; many nieces and nephews.
