Jeffrey Kerspilo Sr.

KERSPILO, Jeffrey Francis, Sr. - age 67, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, August 3, 2017. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 706 Beach St., Flint with Fr. James Mangan celebrant. A luncheon will follow the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church. Mr. Kerspilo was born March 4, 1950, the son of Raymond John and Clara May (Ensign) Kerspilo. He was a graduate of St. Matthew Catholic School. Mr. Kerspilo was a disabled combat veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from General Motors Chevrolet Manufacturing as a Millwright in 2004. Mr. Kerspilo was a lifetime member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a member of the Swartz Creek VFW. He enjoyed riding his Harley and playing golf. Surviving are: son, Jeffrey F. Kerspilo, Jr. of Flint; two granddaughters, Savannah and Mykenzie; special friend, Cheryl Kerspilo of Flint; siblings, Raymond (Linda) Kerspilo of FL, Katherine (Richard) Bell of Swartz Creek, Patrick (Susan) Kerspilo of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
