JENKINS, Jerry D., age 63, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Funeral Services will be 12:30PM Monday, February 4, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Mr. Jon Lasley officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 10AM Monday until time of service at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Jerry was born October 22, 1949 in Flint the son of Burnell Jenkins and Wanita Allison. He married Amy Barnes on October 25, 1994 in Flint. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife Amy; father, Burnell Jenkins (Doris Stevenson); mother, Wanita Jenkins; 2 children, Joe and Andy; 4 stepchildren, Annette, Kevin, Marc, Michael; several grandchildren; brother, David Jenkins (Jennie); sister, Debbie Dargel(Tim); and several nieces and nephews.
