Jerry Urbin

URBIN, Jerry Charles - age 82, of Fenton, passed away February 5, 2022. Private services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.

Jerry was born July 4, 1939 in Detroit, the son of the late George and Clara (Turke) Urbin. He worked as a Parts Man for local dealerships for many years. Jerry was a veteran of the US Army. He married Sharon Lee Palmer in Fenton on November 27, 1965. He loved sports activities with his kids and grandkids. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his son Jimmy at his boxing matches and stock car races. He loved his animals, including his cat, and he especially enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds .

Surviving are: 2 children, Jim (Kim Wright) Urbin of Burton, and Sheila (Ken) Elrich of Swartz Creek; 3 grandchildren, Andrew (Kristen) Beardsley, Kayla Elrich, and Emily Elrich; 2 great-grandchildren, Ellianna Crossley and Bella Beardsley; 2 brothers, Patrick (Kathy) Urbin of Fenton, and James (the late Terry) Urbin of Fenton.
