Jessica Marie Dunning

Jessica Marie Dunning, of Flushing, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her home. She was 39 years old.

She was born December 24, 1985 to Kevin Michael and Gina (Roofe) Beggs in Flint. Jessica worked as a Registered Nurse, a career that she deeply loved and was currently back in school to earn her DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice). On July 10th, 2010 she married her soulmate and high school sweetheart David Dunning, together they brought two amazing kids into this world. Jessica enjoyed volleyball, family game nights, spending time with family outdoors or swimming in a lake, she loved her true crime shows. She loved to cook and bake as well. She was a caring, loving person who would bend over backwards for friends and her community. Her #1 priority in life was being a mom, and her kids number one fan, complete with the cowbell in the stands. A bell so loud that when everyone heard it they knew it was Momma Dunning cheering them on.

Jessica is survived by her loving spouse David Dunning Jr., her children David Dunning III, and Juliana Dunning; her father Kevin M. Beggs and his wife Teresa; her mother Gina C. Wells and her husband Jim; sister Cassidy Beggs and Cameron McIntosh; two step sisters Kelly Leigh Mehta and husband Amar and Lindsey Rae Bewley and husband Brian; father in law David Dunning Sr; brothers and sisters in law Theresa Andersonning and husband Russell, Trisha Stanchina and husband Jeremy, Brian Dunning and wife Anna, Stephanie Dunning and husband Matthew, Makayla Wonch, Michael Wonch and Stacy Schneider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother in law Cindy Wonch; her grandpa Willard Roofe and her grandma Aunt Grandma Barb Beggs.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Swartz Creek, MI. In honor of Jess’s loving disposition she would want everyone to come dressed to their own comfort.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, 1:00 pm at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Swartz Creek, MI, with Deacon Ron Kenney, officiating.
